I have had some family issues that needed to be dealt with, still have issues and they are being dealt with but I'm back on track with my L'Bri business and more.
In August I attended L'Bri's annual convention and had a great time meeting other L'Bri consultants, and learning lots. We have some new products that are absolutely outstanding!
Check out the new products here..click on what's new on the menu bar at the top of the page.
I am even more excited about my L'Bri business and have many plans to build this business big and bigger!
After the L'Bri Convention of 2009, I was able to visit my best friend who lived in Wisconsin at the time and had an amazing discovery! I DO have a creative bone in my body!!
For years I told myself and others I don't have a creative bone in my body. My girlfriend had been telling me for years that I could make jewelry, I didn't believe it then.
While I was visiting her, we celebrated our birthdays and she gave me a necklace and bracelet set that she had made. It is a beautiful set, but the first time I had put it on it broke.
I told my friend she would have to fix it for me before I left to go back home. No problem, she said, and proceeded to repair the jewelry.
WOW, were my eyes opened, that looked very easy to do. When I finally made it back home, I decided to try it for myself. I purchased the supply I needed, and wallah....I created!!
I am starting a blog about the pieces I have created, and would love to have opinions on what you think. My new blogs title is Tricia's Treasures, and the web address is www.beadingbytricia.blogspot.com check it out and express your opinion by commenting on the posts.

Rendering Plants and Skin Care Ingredients
Would you like to know where these ingredients come from? Remember, skin care ingredients will absorb into your skin, you want to be certain there are no harmful chemicals in these products.
A rendering plant is a processing operation where dead animals are recycled into products from human food to biodiesel. Rendering plants are also where bad meat from grocery stores, unusable body parts (heads, hooves, bones, blood, etc.) from animals and used grease from restaurants are sent. It is also where dead animals are sent t0o, most of these animals have died from disease.
These plants throw all of the above items into large vats to boil, producing a yellow grease like substance. The cosmetic manufacturers are the largest consumers of the bi-products from these rendering plants.
They are making ingredients for their skin care products. Anything that includes the ingredients glycerine, linoleic acid, oleic acid, steric acid, tallow, meat or bone meal are rendering plant source products.
- Oleic acid: Used in soaps, permanent wave solutions, shampoos, hair dyes, lipsticks, liquid make-ups, nasal sprays
- Glycerine: Used in cosmetics, mouthwashes, toothpastes, soaps, ointments
- Stearic acid: Used in cosmetics, lubricants, hair spray, conditioners, deodorants
- Non-edible tallow: Used in soap

Great Skin Starts With Great Ingredients
From head to toe, our skin care formulations have you covered with pure, stabilized cold processed Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller as the FIRST ingredient. To ensure the quality of every skin care product manufactured, L’Bri inspects all raw ingredients before they are mixed, tests the product during manufacturing, and performs a final analysis before any product is sent to the customer.
- Is water the first ingredient in the product you are using?
- Do your products contain any of these potentially harmful ingredients? Propylene Glycol,Butylene Glycol, Sodium Laurel Sulfate.
- Do you see pore clogging waxes such as Beeswax, Candeilla Wax, Paraffin or Carnauba Wax listed among the ingredients?
- Do you see Fragrance listed on the label? Synthetic fragrance is artificially produced and can cause skin irritations in some people.
- Does the product you are using contain petro chemicals such as mineral oil?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, it’s time to discover: L’Bri Pure n’ Natural
What is most important when selecting a skin care product are the ingredients. It’s not about fancy packaging which can only add to the unnecessary cost of the finished product, it’s all about what’s inside the bottle.
We don’t believe on wasting our customer’s money on fancy, expensive bottles. Great skin starts with great ingredients. As you will discover all of L’Bri products are moderately priced. Don’t over pay for products that contain water as the first ingredient and use many of the harmful, skin suicide ingredients which are listed above.
